In 5 years time when all the new climbers (who don't realise now) realise what training is, they'll say - 'I wish the Co op hadn't shut down', cause short of a miracle, that's what's going to happen.
'That was the best training board', they'll say.
I sure will miss the place.
I sure am sad.
That's a pity Trish. Probably was inevitable once Gravity opened, still I know a lot of people put a lot of effort into it (for no financial gain).
ReplyDeleteI think the really pity is that it didn't open sooner. I think that the board room in Awesome will be pretty good.
The training room in Awesome Walls will no doubt be great - but that doesn't help me, after work, on weekdays.
ReplyDeletePetrol cost, toll costs, wall closes... blah blah blah -
There's nothing southside that matches the Co op for quality of training and location and COST!
€30/ Month, the best and the cheapest - gone...
Damn shame.
30 euro a month for 24hr access. Are you sure you've spread the word and looked for new members.
ReplyDeletesad day if it closed
A real shame. Great place to train because the people really pushed each other.
